Ø Brief introduction:

Around 0930LT on April 02, 2015, a Cambodian cargo ship MV “GOLD MEI” dragged anchor due to strong wind and ran aground on the   rocks by the shore owned by Shan Xi Tou Village by the northwest shore of Rongxi port of Shidao, Weihai (36°50’34’’N/122°15’19’’E).    Subsequently, the vessel was damaged and water flooded. Bunkers leaked and caused oil pollution.

Ø Service we provided:

1） Organized many units to submit a tender to select a salvage unit on behalf of the client;

2） Liaised and coordinated with potential salvage unit, MSA department(s) and relevant parties of the vessel to negotiate, review and sign the salvage plan and salvage contract, and assisted in handling procedures necessary to the salvage operation;

3）Negotiated with all claimants, MSA department and relevant parties of the vessel, settled all claims and removed obstacles to the         salvage operation;

4）Assisted the salvage company in various liaison, technical and operation issues prior to, during and after the salvage operation.
